At Alpine College, we are firmly committed to ensuring a ragging-free environment by implementing stringent policies against any form of harassment, intimidation, or misconduct. The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted as per the regulations of AICTE, fostering a secure, respectful, and inclusive space for all students.

Ragging is a serious offense under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and any such activities will lead to strict disciplinary and legal action. The committee remains proactive in monitoring, preventing, and responding to any cases, ensuring a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee

✔ Eradicate all forms of ragging, whether verbal, physical, or psychological.
✔ Educate students on the harmful consequences of ragging and bullying.
✔ Encourage a culture of mutual respect and zero tolerance for harassment.
✔ Investigate and take decisive disciplinary actions in reported cases.
✔ Ensure adherence to UGC, AICTE, and NAAC anti-ragging policies.

Student Awareness & Engagement Initiatives

📌 Compulsory Anti-Ragging Induction Program – Conducted for all first-year students.
📌 Interactive Discussions – Sessions led by legal professionals and counselors to educate students on their rights.

Support & Counseling Services

📌 Dedicated Student Support Helpline – Ensuring students have a confidential channel to seek assistance.
📌 On-Campus Counseling – Psychological support available for students facing stress or peer pressure.
