Board of Governance (BoG)


The Board of Governance (BoG) at Alpine College is dedicated to upholding excellence in institutional governance, fostering academic growth, and ensuring transparency in decision-making.

The primary focus of the BoG is to steer the institution toward achieving its mission of delivering quality education, nurturing research and innovation, and preparing students for dynamic career opportunities. The governance framework is built upon principles of accountability, integrity, and student-centric policies, ensuring an equitable and progressive academic environment.

The BoG consists of individuals from academia, industry, administration, and student representation, bringing a range of perspectives to drive the institution’s advancement. Through their collective expertise, they work towards maintaining high academic standards, fostering inclusivity, and strengthening institutional ethics, thereby equipping students to become responsible professionals and leaders.

Chairman - Provides strategic leadership and vision.
- Oversees institutional policies and long-term planning.
- Strengthens industry and academic partnerships.
Board of Governors (BOG) - Sets policies for academic and administrative functions.
- Ensures compliance with higher education standards.
- Monitors faculty development, research, and student welfare initiatives.
Principal - Academic and administrative head of the institution.
- Implements strategic policies and academic reforms.
- Ensures quality education, faculty growth, and student success.
- Promotes research, digital learning, and industry collaborations.
IQAC Coordinator - Leads quality assurance initiatives and institutional development.
- Monitors teaching, learning, and assessment quality.
- Organizes faculty training, student feedback mechanisms, and research projects.
Heads of Departments (HODs) - Lead their respective departments in academic planning and execution.
- Ensure syllabus completion, faculty coordination, and student guidance.
- Promote research, industry collaborations, and skill-based learning.
Faculty Members - Deliver quality education and mentor students.
- Conduct research, internships, and industry-driven projects.
- Guide students in career-building and academic success.
Administrative Staff - Handle institutional operations, student services, and compliance.
- Support faculty and students in academic and non-academic matters.
- Maintain infrastructure, IT services, and college resources.
Students & Student Representatives - Actively participate in academics, research, and extracurricular activities.
- Provide feedback to faculty and administration.
- Organize student-led events, initiatives, and community outreach programs.
Alumni - Act as mentors and career guides for current students.
- Contribute to industry connections and internship opportunities.
- Support institutional growth through engagement and networking.
